Plein Air Easton will soon be upon us but it is not too late to apply to Local Color! The show is held annually during Plein Air Easton at the Tidewater Inn, July 17-19. If you are an artist living on the Eastern Shore, don't miss the opportunity to exhibit and sell your work along with some of the best artistic talent that Delmarva has to offer.

Why should you enter? 
• The show is held in conjunction with Plein Air Easton where the public's interest turns to art that describes the unique and distinctive way of life we enjoy here on the beautiful Eastern Shore.
• Over a decade of displaying consistently spectacular local art has resulted in the reliable patronage of countless Local Color collectors.
• Art purchases are always robust at the Local Color show.
• We make it easy. Artists bring their art on Friday and pick up is on Sunday. The Working Artists Forum does the rest!
• Awards:  Best in show - $600 plus three awards of excellence at $200 each.
• During the weekend, enjoy free artist demonstrations at The Tidewater Inn, presented by winning plein air artists from Plein Air Easton 2014. This year's demo artists are John Sills, Tim Bell, Hiu Lai Chong, Garin Baker and Zufar Bikbov.
• The Working Artists Forum assigns a portion of the proceeds from Local Color to help support local school art programs.

Local Color will be juried this year by Tim Bell, the 2014 second place winner of the Plein Air Easton Competition. The show judge this year is Plein Air Easton’s 2014 Grand Prize Winner, John Brandon Sills.
