The Eastern Shore is rich in beautiful scenes on and about the water. This class will go right to the heart of the fundamentals of pastel painting – perceiving and recording the values and color; understanding the properties of light; and drawing skills – with a concentration on this specific subject matter. There will be personal attention to help with each student. Class will work from photos and, if needed, photos will be provided by the instructor. If you do not have pastels, there will be a small fee to use the instructor’s materials. All levels welcome.
