What could be more delightful than painting Easton en plein air on a beautiful spring evening? Learn how to infuse your pastel painting with dramatic light and color even when the hour is getting late. While doing a demonstration, Katie will guide you through the process of creating conntrasts in warm and cool colors while designing strong compositions. The students will learn to set up their own drawing and find the lightest and darkest values in the scene, then how to take colors down in intensity as darkness falls.
