This workshop is open to artists of all skill levels. 

Of the many aspects of plein air painting, two of the most important are creating a strong, expressive design and understanding how to interpret color outdoors.  The workshop will focus on creating a design with not only what nature gives us, but how we can improve upon it.  Time will also be spent on learning to mix color and how to get the effects of glowing light, not just painting what we see.

Each day will be started with a quick demo by Becky followed by student exercises to improve their design and color skills.  The students will be blocking-in and completing a small painting each day.  The last day will end with a group critique and going over the new found skills that we have covered.
