Candleberry Gallery - Plein Air Painters of the Chesapeake Bay
The Candleberry Gallery in St Michaels Maryland is hosting a show of the work done by the Plein Air Painters of the Chesapeake Bay (PAPCB) the month of July 2017. The PAPCB is a group of local artists (many are regionally and nationally known) that love painting outside from mid March through the mid of November. All of the paintings will be Plein Air works. The show opens Saturday July 1st, 2017.
PLEIN AIR PAINTERS OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY (PAPCB)
The Plein Air Painters of the Chesapeake Bay (PAPCB) started in April 2014 when Jackie Pfaff-Pratt, Elaine Shortall, Kate Quinn and Diane DuBois Mullaly began painting outdoors together on Tuesdays. PAPCB now has over 50 members, and paints together every Tuesday from mid-March through June, and from September through mid-November. Painting locations include Mid-Shore farms, private waterfront estates, villages, gardens and parks. Membership in PAPCB is free; and all mediums and skill levels are welcome.
