Local Color: Exhibit and Sale
12-5 Exhibit Opens, Awards announced (either via Zoom, or outside)
This is an exciting opportunity to view and purchase beautiful original art created in studio or en plein air by local, working artists from around the Eastern Shore. The event takes place in the parish hall of Christ Church in downtown Easton. This is an ideal location, as the recently remodeled and gorgeous church sits across the street from The Art Academy and The Waterfowl Building, both established venues for Plein Air Easton. and is held in conjunction with Plein Air Easton Art Festival.
Proceeds from Local Color help to fund The Working Artists Forum's educational program for art classes in local public schools. The WAF is an organization of painters working in one or more medium. Professional expertise of its membership is fostered through programs, group critiques, demonstrations, workshops, and member exhibitions. Pro bono work for the community is encouraged.
