FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. This is the first and only chance to see 58 brand new 6x8 paintings unveiled that have been created by the competition artists.
Location: The Library at Easton Waterfowl Armory, 40 S. Harrison Street, Easton(website, map)
The 58 Competition artists at Plein Air Easton produce many paintings throughout the week but may submit only two paintings for judging. As the festival has grown, so have these works in size and scope. Four years ago, we launched the first Small Painting Sunday where the artists are required to paint one additional piece on a small 6” x 8” canvas. The paintings will be judged by competition judge Dr. David C. Levy, before being locked away in a vault until 10am on Sunday, July 21. At 10 am the Armory doors open and these tiny gems are unveiled in their own small painting exhibit and sale.
