Zufar loves to work in oil.  He studied classic realism but later enjoyed experimenting, constantly in search of a way to express his true self on canvas.  Because he has also studied medicine, he has a very special feeling about nature and all that lives in the human soul.  Zufar is a native of Russia, raised on the green banks of the Volga River in a mixture of the old city of Kazan and the rural Tatar region of Russia.  Among his awards are Best in Show Award, Connecticut Schooner Festival and Award of Excellence, 1st Place, Connecticut Plein Air Painters Society.
