Foremost a portrait painter, Palden studied at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Students League of New York. and has won numerous awards. He lives in the Baltimore area painting portraits in the tradition of Sargent and Velasquez. Palden has worked as an illustrator in New York. In this two-day workshop, Palden will instruct on painting portraits from life and provide individualized instruction.
