Small Painting Sunday Exhibit & Sale
The first and only chance to see a brand new exhibit of small 6x8 paintings that have been created by competing artists, get here early (the line starts forming before the doors open at 10am), buy your favorite paintings (this is your last chance before the exhibit closes) and stay for the Judge's talk at 2pm.
As the competition artwork collectively seemed to get larger and larger over the years, we launched Small Painting Sunday in 2017. For this event, the competition artists are required to paint one additional artwork on a small 6” x 8” canvas. These treasured gems are hidden away until the unveiling and sale on the final day of the festival. These small treasures will be judged by competition judge Master Jove Wang and he will present a set of awards exclusively for these artworks.
Pro Tip: The doors open at 10 am! If you want first dibs, be sure to get there early and join the queue. Best advice? If you like it, buy it. Since its launch, Small Painting Sunday has sold 90-100% of the paintings you'll see on display.
At 4pm, any and all unsold artwork is packed up and will return home with their respective artist.
