Wye House - Meet the Artist Dinner - Friends of Plein Air
This Private party exclusive to Plein Air Easton's 58 Competition Painters and its supporters, will be held this year at what is arguably one of the most historically significant private properties on the Est Coast, Wye House. With structures dating back to the 1700's, this property is rich in preserved beauty and deep in history. Frederick Douglass spent a few of his early years on the property and spoke of his experiences in his autobiography, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave. Artists will paint this property as patrons mingle and have the opportunity to absorb its captivating beauty with art that captures the moment. Artwork produced that evening will be available for purchase, and patrons will enjoy friendship over a lavish dinner in the company of the nation's best plein air painters.
