Greg LaRock passed away from injuries in a rollerblading fall on Sunday, October 11, 2020.

A signature member of OPA, AIS, ASMA, and LPAPA, Greg LaRock has won numerous awards for his painting excellence including Best of Show at: Plein Air Easton, Florida’s Forgotten Coast, Los Gatos Plein Air and Sonoma Plein Air. He’s also been awarded first place at Door County Invitational and Artist Choice at Maui Plein Air Invitational, plus the Callaway Gardens Plein Air Purchase Prize in Georgia. Greg has been juried into six Oil Painters of America national shows, invited 12 times to LPAPA’s annual Plein Air Invitational and a 14 year exhibitor at the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach. He has been featured in Plein Air Magazine, Southwest Art Magazine and included in a Jack Richeson Fine Art Series book “Plein Air New Mexico.”
