AVALON THEATRE

Having been recently restored to its original art deco grandeur with genuine gold leaf appliqué and hand rubbed plasterwork, the 400-seat Avalon Theatre is the premiere live music venue on the Eastern Shore.

Originally built as a vaudeville venue and dubbed “The Shore’s Most Beautiful Show Place”, the acoustics of the room are unparalleled. But the superior quality of the acts never takes away from the community feel you’ll experience once you’re inside our doors.

CHRIST CHURCH FELLOWSHIP HALL

The Working Artists Forum under the auspices of the annual Plein Air Easton Competition and Arts Festival, sponsors a juried and judged art exhibit each year entitled “Local Color”. Local Color features 2D dimensional art in various painting mediums.

The exhibit and several demonstrations take place during Plein Air Easton at Christ Church Fellowship Hall.

EASTERN SHORE LAND CONSERVANCY

A new paint-out opportunity for PAE Invited Alumni artists was made possible through a partnership with Eastern Shore Land Conservancy (ESLC). Former top-tier winning artists are invited to paint properties in conservation to highlight the efforts of ESLC to ‘preserve and sustain the vibrant communities of the Eastern Shore and the lands and waters that connect them’, exhibiting their works in a pop-up exhibit in ESLC’s Easton Headquarters. This partnership was funded by Bruce Wiltsie and Bill Davenport, long-time supporters of PAE and staunch advocates for art as a way to advocate for conserving our rich and diverse landscape.
