Igli Arapi

After graduating in Tirana at the Liceo Artistico "Jordan Misja", he moved to Italy and in 2002 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and in the same year the magazine "Arte" of Mondadori Editore included him among the 200 young promises of Italian art. He has been painting for 30 years and art is his profession. He teaches the technique in oil, watercolor, drawing and tries to spread his passion and his technical knowledge to other art lovers. Many works are private collections abroad and in Italy. Since 2019 he is a member of the Malerstubchen Museum Willingshausen Association. Artist – guest at the Maler Symposium Willingshausen 2019, 2020. Plein air, Germany. Artist selection judge for FabrianoInAcquerello. International leader for FabrianoInAcquerello event 2020, in which he has been participating for six years. He is often invited to give Workshop and Demo classes in front of the public as well as participating in solo and group exhibitions. He paints in Plein air but also works a lot in her studio. His subjects, mainly, are landscapes but often devotes himself to portrait and the human figure in general. He painted Plein Air in Germany, (Berlin, Potsdam, Willinshausen), Italy, Albania, Holland. He has received artistic recognition for his commitment and passion in spreading art.
