Talbot Thrive is proud to announce the selected artists for its upcoming Art in Motion exhibition, a dynamic showcase exploring the intersection of art, movement, and community. The exhibition will be held from July 11–20, 2025, at 17 East Dover Street in Easton, in conjunction with the town’s Plein Air Celebration. After receiving a wide range of submissions from across the region, the selection committee has chosen 15 artists whose work most powerfully reflects the exhibition’s theme—interpreting motion through trails, rhythm, transformation, and the body in motion. These works, which span painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, offer unique perspectives on how movement shapes our environment, health, and shared spaces. The 2025 Art in Motion exhibiting artists are: Janet DiNapoli David Dunn Mary Ford Rhonda Ford Lesley Giles Carla Huber Pat Lang Maire McArdle Em McDaniel Cynthia Miles Mike Miller Steven Sirota Stephen Walker Louisa Zendt These artists will have their work featured in the downtown Easton gallery space and will be recognized in event promotional materials. An opening reception will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 5-8 pm, where the public is invited to meet the artists and experience the exhibition firsthand. In addition, a sculpture by local artist Eddie Ford will be featured in the Park adjacent to the gallery space and painted bikes by Shelton Hawkins and Saba Hamidi will be auctioned off to support the mission of Talbot Thrive. A portion of each sale—30%—will support Talbot Thrive’s mission to create safer, healthier ways for residents and visitors to move through Talbot County’s public spaces.
