5th Annual Winter Challenge: A Painting a Day for 30 Days!
All mediums, all levels of experience. Based on the philosophy of the Daily Painting movement; creating one small artwork each day is a great way to loosen up, improve quickly, discover new concepts to incorporate into your work, and develop the discipline to get into the studio every day. Paintings are typically 6”x 6” and can be any subject, painted from life or from photos. The first class introduces this concept and suggests a variety of approaches to it; then the instructor and students all paint together in the Museum studio. Over the following four weeks, each enrolled artist paints one painting a day in their home studio; then on Saturday, they bring the current week’s work to class for an individual critique and group discussion. The last week, all paintings are reviewed in class, and the painters are able to see their growth and progress. The instructor takes on this exciting Winter Challenge alongside the enrolled artists, and offers helpful insight and tips along the way. An inspiring event, this challenge is a great opportunity to get your creativity flowing and to grow as an artist. Don’t miss it! www.dianeduboismullaly.com
