In conjunction with the Plein Air-Easton! Competition and Arts Festival, the Working Artists Forum is sponsoring a juried and judged art exhibit entitled "Local Color".  This juried and judged show spotlights some of the best artists from Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.  Awards are given for Best in Show and three Awards of Excellence.  Sold paintings are replenished as necessary, so stop by often.  The show will be open Friday (noon-6pm), Saturday (10am-8pm), and Sunday (10am-4pm).  Several artists will also take turns painting outside in the vicinity of the Tidewater Inn.

OUTSIDE PAINTERS FOR THE “LOCAL COLOR” SHOW, 2013

• LESLIE BELLOSO – Leslie is a physician and an “ARTIST TO WATCH”.  She paints almost exclusively from life and won the BEST IN SHOW award at “the Local Color” Show, 2011.
• FRED CRAIG – Fred enjoys painting tidewater and coastal subjects, consistently receiving awards for his work.  Represented by: Antreasian Gallery in Baltimore and David Grafton Gallery in Easton.
• LINDA KIRVAN – An avid Plein Air painter, with a love of light and landscapes.  Linda states that artists are much appreciated here in Talbot County. The beauty is treasured by us all!
• DAVID SUTPHEN –David was inspired by his grandfather and is presently working in heavy acrylics at his getaway cottage in Neavitt,  shared by his wife and their 3 labs.  He paints the Maryland he loves!
• DENNIS YOUNG – Thirty years after medical school,  Dennis is painting again. He favors city scapes, looking for a punch of color and an accent of light.  LOOK FOR HIS LITTLE GREEN WAGON.
