Focusing on color and light, Sally discusses optical mixing of layered color and how to truly see and identify color, as it is, rather than what we think it should be, especially subtle color. The effects of light on color, composition, and perception, as well as use of different types of light are explored. Painting from costumed model and still life, each student receives individual attention and critiques. Demonstrations, lectures and a slide show are designed to give students tools to achieve intensely beautiful color!
