Troika Gallery is pleased to present this fascinating talk by Victor Nizovtsev, one of the gallery's most beloved and popular artists.  Nizovtsev is a masterful oil painter known for meticulous craftsmanship and brilliantly colored shimmering surfaces.  He is widely recognized for major fanciful and whimsical themes and explorations of harlequins, mermaids, floral still lifes, and angels.  His inspiration comes from Greek mythology, Russian folklore, childhood memories and his own unique imagination.  Nizovtsev was one of the last to be treated as a child prodigy in his native Russia, where he was classically trained for fourteen years.  He moved to the United States fifteen years ago and has been represented by Troika Gallery ever since.
