Diane DuBois Mullaly

Easton, MD

Inducted into the Plein Air Easton Hall of Fame in 2025

An accomplished oil painter and dedicated member of the Eastern Shore arts community, Diane DuBois Mullaly has been involved with Plein Air Easton since its very beginning. In 2005, she answered a call for volunteers and was surprised to learn she’d been asked to co-chair a brand-new event called the Quick Draw. Working alongside co-chair Cliff Fleener, Diane helped develop the event’s structure and logistics—many of which remain in place to this day.

A passionate plein air artist, Diane has been juried into the Plein Air Easton competition ten times and is known for her vibrant interpretations of the local landscape. Her thoughtful approach, organizational clarity, and willingness to help wherever needed have made her a valuable contributor behind the scenes as well.

For Diane, Plein Air Easton is more than just a festival—it’s a community marked by generosity, connection, and creativity. Whether she's painting outdoors, mentoring emerging artists, or quietly supporting the event’s growth, Diane brings grace and dedication to everything she does.
