In this exciting intermediate drawing course students explore still life and interior space motifs. Working out of the tonal tradition of Charles Hawthorne and Edwin Dickinson, students work directly from observation while learning to employ value-spot notation. Students focus on working holistically, while capturing a sense of light and atmosphere in a variety of locations. Emphasis is placed on drawing as a process of translation.
