Educational Content

One of the favorite festival offerings for aspiring and seasoned artist attendees alike is our collection of art demonstrations hosted by Plein Air Easton alumni.  This year's demos had packed in-person audiences and record-high online attendances for artists Alison Barry, Nancy Tankersley, Vlad Duchev, John T Eiseman, and Jim Rehak.

Best of all, these recordings are available to watch on our YouTube channel so you can continue your painting education all year round.  We have collected the videos in a PLAYLIST along with previous years' demonstrations.

If you are looking for a more detailed, intensive demonstration, we've worked with other alumni to produce Pay-Per-View instructional demos for plein air oil painting, plein air watercolor painting, sketchbook techniques and tools, and portraiture painting.  These videos are $50 each and you can watch them over and over again with your single purchase so that you can really absorb the lessons within.

Use these videos to fine-tune your plein air painting skills all winter, and we will be back with even more demos featuring some of your favorite Plein Air painting celebrities next year – or who knows, maybe sooner.

Want to quickly reminisce about PAE? Watch TIME-LAPSE VIDEOS of some of the works created during the competition.

The Prospectus for Plein Air Easton 2026 will go live on the Plein Air Easton website on December 1, 2025 – if you are an artist, this could be your year! Mark your calendar now!!
