Plein Air Easton offers several events for the littlest artist in your life. Designed to instill a love of art at the earliest age and even nurture future plein air painters, most of these events are free and all of them are outdoors so bring your kids and join in the plain air fun.
July 18
St. Michaels
10am - 1pm: Celebrate Plein Air in St. Michaels, Muskrat Park. Join us in St. Michaels for a kids paint out, art stations, Fun and Fitness Center entertainment, face painting and various arts and craft tables. Entertainment by Cascading Carlos. July 22
Easton
10-noon; Kid’s Paint Out, Academy Art Museum front Lawn. Hosted by The Country School. An outdoor paint out for children age 12 and under. Materials supplied.
July 23
Easton
Next Generation Quick Draw: sponsored by the Star Democrat. A painting competition for artists 18 and under. Registration $10 or $30 with supplies (Includes canvas, frame, paint and brushes. Easels are first come, first served).
- 9am - Registration begins: in person, at the Information Center Booth on Harrison Street, Harrison Street
- 10am – noon: Registered artists paint
- noon - 1pm: Exhibit, Sale and Awards, Harrison Street
July 23
Easton
Art Activities, Harrison Street: 11am – 1pm Jump in on any of the free arts activities and crafts for kids. Street side – look for the white tents in front of the Armory.
