The Local Color Art Show and Competition, sponsored by the Working Artists Forum, will be held Friday, July 15th - Sunday, July 17th,  in the Crystal Ballroom of the Tidewater Inn in Easton.  Local Color is held in conjunction with Plein Air Easton Art Festival and will feature paintings by artists representing the Delmarva Peninsula.  The list of outstanding artists who have been juried into Local Color is below. 

As a special event this year, WAF will be hosting a raffle for a Caribbean Cruise, March 11-18, 2017, compliments of Kathleen Hopkins of CruiseOne.  Tickets may be purchased for $100 at www.mscf.org/plein-air-cruise-raffle/  for a chance to win a balcony stateroom for two aboard the Celebrity Reflection, valued at $4,200.  Along with the cruise, workshops are included for paint outs in Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico under the guidance of accomplished Plein Air artists Jason Sacran and Hiu Lai Chong.  The lucky winner will be drawn on Friday, July 15th at 12 noon, at the Tidewater Inn and you do not have to be present to win.  Only 100 tickets will be sold, so be sure to take advantage of this great tropical learning adventure!

Proceeds from Local Color and the raffle fundraiser help to fund the Working Artists Forum's educational program for art classes in local schools.
