The Plein Air Easton Podcast chronicles the intrepid lives of the people who are making the modern plein air art movement.  It’s not just about art; It explores the stories of the artists, gallery owners, collectors, educators, and other players that have an interesting perspective on art in our world.  The Plein Air Easton Podcast is hosted by Tim Weigand (who also hosts Plein Air Easton’s live streaming television show Coffee/Cocktails & Conversations), Jess Bellis, and Marie Nuthall. 

What is a Podcast???

Simply put: a podcast is an audio program, just like Talk Radio, but you subscribe to it on your smartphone, listen to it whenever you like, pause when you need to, and pick right back up where you left off.

In a little more detail, a podcast is a series of spoken word, audio episodes, all focused on a particular topic or theme, with podcasts on every possible topic (art, food, music, business). You can subscribe to the show with an app on your phone or tablet and listen to episodes whenever you like on your headphones, in the car during your commute, or while you work around the house through a smart speaker.  

What should you expect to hear on the Plein Air Easton Podcast? Who should listen?

The conversation tends to be light but spirited and covers a litany of topics.

To listen to the Plein Air Easton Podcast:

1. Choose a free podcast app to use or download one to your preferred device. Many phones come with a podcast app already downloaded – (i.e. Apple Podcast, Google Play, or Spotify).
2. Click on the search button, type and select Plein Air Easton
3. You should be ready to listen. Depending on the App you choose be sure to click buttons like “subscribe” or “follow”; by doing this the podcast will be easier to find when you open the app and you will be alerted to new episodes as they are released. The app will also save your spot in episodes so that if you stop the program you can restart it right where you left off.  
4. You can download episodes to your device so that you can listen when you are away from Wi-Fi or if you do not want to use up your data on your phone/tablet or you can stream episodes directly.  
5. After you listen to a few episodes consider rating/reviewing the podcast! This is extremely helpful in getting the word out about the podcast. It will help us to build our listening base and reach more guests.     
6. You can always find our podcasts directly on the Plein Air Easton website. Episodes can be streamed directly from the website but not necessarily with all the bells and whistles offered when you use a podcast app.
