July 20th – 22nd at The Tidewater Inn - Downtown Easton, MD

The Local Color 2018 Juror has selected 42 talented Eastern Shore artists to participate in this year’s Local Color Art Show & Sale. If you are coming to Plein Air Easton this year, you must not miss it! Held in conjunction with Plein Air Easton, this show offers a delightful opportunity to browse and purchase art created exclusively by working artists from around the Eastern Shore.

Did you know that Plein Air Easton's first and second place winners are always invited to judge and jury this annual art show? This year's show will be judged by Joe Gyurcsak, Plein Air Easton’s 2017 Grand Prize winner. Local Color was juried this year by Hai Ou Hou, the 2017 Plein Air Easton’s second place winner.  They will honor us by also presenting the first two of five free painting demonstrations sponsored by The Working Artists Forum.

As always, a number of Local Color artists, painting en plein air, will be outdoors around the Tidewater Inn during the show. Proceeds from Local Color help to fund The Working Artists Forum's educational program for art classes in local schools.
