Save the Date! Plein Air Easton will take place July 9-17 when 58 juried artists will descend on the landscape of the Delmarva Peninsula to paint in the open air. All the completed artworks will be on display during the weekend of the 16th and 17th for viewing and purchase at The Academy Art Museum and The Waterfowl Building in Easton.
With the recent release of the 2016 competition prospectus, Plein Air Easton is proud to announce this year’s judge and jurist.
Tilghman Island hosted the first pre-competition paint out on Thursday, July 9th. All of the juried Plein Air Easton artists were invited to participate in the third annual paint-out and around forty artists did just that. Throughout the day, artists could be seen sprinkled throughout the island painting whatever caught their eyes.

You can always go to the movies or visit a museum. Dinner out is great but you can do that anytime. Summer baseball games are fun but pretty common. There's always an interesting auction to attend. There are lots and lots of things to do and most of them are nice--but not really, really special.
However, Plein Air Easton artists descending on Cambridge happens only once a year. This year it will be July 10th and, like last year, it will be really special.
