Plein Air Easton's First 2015 Video Blog - I'll be There!
by Nancy Snyder
You can always go to the movies or visit a museum. Dinner out is great but you can do that anytime. Summer baseball games are fun but pretty common. There's always an interesting auction to attend. There are lots and lots of things to do and most of them are nice--but not really, really special.
However, Plein Air Easton artists descending on Cambridge happens only once a year. This year it will be July 10th and, like last year, it will be really special.
This playful blog just in from our friends in Cambridge.
~~(Sissy dials Cheryl's phone)
"Hi, Cheryl, it's Sissy. Hey, Girlfriend! What are you doing on July 10? Wanna go somewhere?"
"Where should we go? Let's pick a nearby town that doesn't have too much traffic, too many stoplights or too much congestion. And I sure don’t want to walk around any of those big box stores.

Plein Air Easton will soon be upon us but it is not too late to apply to Local Color! The show is held annually during Plein Air Easton at the Tidewater Inn, July 17-19. If you are an artist living on the Eastern Shore, don't miss the opportunity to exhibit and sell your work along with some of the best artistic talent that Delmarva has to offer.
The artists that will create the unique fabric of Plein Air Easton 2015 have been released!
Some interesting facts about this year's competition entries:
It is with great pleasure that Plein Air Easton announces Elaine Adams as its 2015 competition jurist. Mrs. Adams will be responsible for choosing from the 100's of entries which artists get to participate in this year's Festival and Arts Competition.
My name is Marie Nuthall and I am excited and honored to be joining the Avalon Foundation staff as the new Event Coordinator for Plein Air Easton! I’ve spent the majority of the last 14 years working with the Mason family as their catering and event coordinator for events that ranged from small gatherings to hundreds of guests. I feel that background was the perfect segue for the Plein Air experience that lies ahead.
What is Plein Air Easton?

The object of Plein Air Easton is to expose the area’s vibrant arts community to a larger market.
